Who is the data controller

What data we collect
- Account — the first name, last name and email address you enter when registering.
- Services — the event hall and bureaucratic help desk bookings you make through the portal.
- Insurance — the data in the policy enrolment form, if you join the service.
How we use it
Only to provide the portal services: managing your account, your bookings and the insurance, and sending you the emails that concern you (confirmations, notifications, payment reminders). If we ever launch a newsletter for the community's public events we will ask for your consent first: it is not active today.
Who we share it with
Nobody: we do not sell or hand over your data to third parties. Single exception: if you enrol in the insurance, the enrolment form you filled in is delivered to the insurance agency, because it is needed to activate the policy. Everything else you enter on the site stays in our systems.
The map on the Contacts page is a case of its own, and it is up to you: it loads only if you turn it on in the privacy preferences, and that switch starts off. Once it is on, your IP address reaches the OpenStreetMap servers, which handle it under their own privacy policy. Leave it off and nothing goes out to them: in its place you get a picture we host ourselves.
Where it is stored
On servers located in the European Union. The site's fonts and scripts are also served from our own servers: while browsing, your browser does not contact external services.
For how long
As long as your account is active or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Cookies
We only use technical cookies, essential for the site to work:
- session cookie — keeps you logged in while you browse the private area;
- language cookie — remembers the language you chose;
- cookie notice preference — saved in your browser so we don't show you the notice again.
No profiling, analytics or advertising cookies. The notice you see on arrival is there for one thing only: to let you choose whether to turn on the map on the Contacts page, the only element of this site that can send a piece of your data outwards. You can leave it off without losing anything — you will see a picture instead — and you can change your mind at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) you can ask us at any time for: access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability. Just send an email to minhajulqurancentofe@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante).
